What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site uses as few as it can.
Strictly necessary
We store your cookie choice itself in your browser, under the name hdc-consent, so we do not keep asking you. If you click Decline, that is the only thing set.
Measurement, only if you accept
If you click Accept we load the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel and the Google tag. They tell us which advert brought you to the site and whether you went on to start an enquiry, so we stop paying for adverts that bring nobody. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
What we never send
We do not send anything you type into the enquiry form. Not your name, your address, your landlord, or anything you tell us about damp, mould, or your family’s health. The measurement tools are told only that an enquiry was completed, and which of the two forms it was. Never a word of what you wrote in it.
What we do not do
We do not sell browsing data, and we do not build advertising profiles from anything you tell us about your home or your health.
